At Fairlight we pride ourselves on providing a safe, comfortable, friendly and homely atmosphere for our residents.

We have been rated 3 Star Excellant by our governing body, this is the highest award a home can receive. This currently makes us the only Residential and Nursing Home in our area to have acheived this level of excellance.

Our caring team encourage our residents to feel at home.

Our newly refurbised and extended home is registered for 44 residents. We offer both nursing and residential care with qualified nurses on shift 24 hours per day.

Our premises can provide a home for those with a variety of different care needs,in a pleasant homely enviroment. We are dual registered, nursing and residential and we specialise in nursing people withn Parkinson disease, Mutiple Sclerosis, Stroke victims, Head injuries and Palliative care. We also offer a home to those who may just require respite or are convalescing.

Each resident has their own "Care Plan", and is encouraged to determine their own schedule. Individual tastes in food, religion and daily routine are catered for.

At the home we offer single, single en-suite and twin rooms. These rooms coupled with the two lounge areas, help to promote a homely environment. There is easy access to all rooms using our 2 lifts. We have a visiting chiropodist and hairdresser.

Our doors are always open to family and friends. The staff are happy to show new families around and there is always a trained nurse to talk to.

Our residents are afforded maximum choices in every aspect of their care without undue routines. Each resident has his/her own care plan and a keyworker who will look after their additional needs i.e shopping or relaying worries/concerns to senior members of staff. We encourage residents to bring in thier own ornaments and small pieces of furniture, therefore making their rooms their own private havens.
